What’s this all about?
Since 2005, when I joined the blogging revolution, I have maintained a blog in some form. My first effort was World on a Plate. Ambitious in scope but nonetheless more than enough to stoke the fires of my curiosity with the intersection of culture, history and food. That blog is now more or less dormant due to my day job as a marketing professional and its increased responsibilities on that path. My interest in writing and this topic hasn’t waned. So a new blogging platform and a renewed, but continuing, interest in how food and its cultural history serves to bring understanding each other near and far has brought me back.
